CUSTOMER SUPPORT ENGINEER – RESEARCH NUCLEAR REACTORS AND FUSION DEVICES

Assisting our customers is a task of crucial importance for Instrumentation Technologies. In this role, you will support existing and potential new users in their projects related to research nuclear reactors, fusion devices, and particle accelerators around the world, helping them operate and make the most of our instruments. 

You will have the opportunity to travel internationally, attend major scientific conferences and workshops, and perform measurements at customer sites. You’ll be exposed to different environments and cultures while contributing to large-scale scientific projects aiming to answer key questions of our time, enable significant breakthroughs, facilitate the production of medical isotopes, and advance cancer treatment through proton therapy. 

  • Understanding customer applications and needs, as well as the solutions our company can offer; 
  • Visiting customers: explaining, demonstrating, and providing training on Libera instruments to existing and potential users, performing demo and validation measurements; 
  • Handling support requests, both remotely and on-site; 
  • Gathering ideas and requirements for new products or proposing improvements to existing ones; 
  • Participating in international conferences and workshops, building relationships with customers at research nuclear reactors and particle accelerators in America, Asia, Europe, and Australia. 
  • Technical or Scientific Degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field); 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong command of English (both spoken and written); 
  • Ability to clearly communicate and present technical and non-technical topics to various audiences; 
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to travel globally, with openness and interest in different cultures, places, and customs; 
  • Knowledge of analog and digital signal processing, A/D conversion, and Linux-based embedded systems is a strong advantage.

FPGA DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

Your main tasks will include designing and building FPGA designs for new products, documenting and maintaining FPGA code for existing products, and designing production-appropriate parameters for new products. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing FPGA code for existing products.

  • Designing and building FPGA designs for new products,

  • At least a Level VI technical education,
  • A minimum of 1 year of work experience in designing FPGA modules,

  • Active knowledge of the English language,
  • Self-initiative and proactivity,
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows),
  • Category B driver’s license.

HARDWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

In your role, you will closely collaborate with product specialists to define equipment specifications and then, together with a professional team of engineers, plan and develop printed circuit boards, protective covers, housings, and other key components. With your deep knowledge of electronics, sense for mechanical areas, and open, cooperative nature, you will make a significant contribution to the development of the best solutions for customers worldwide.

Your main tasks:

  • Planning electronic circuits and associated mechanical parts using CAD tools;
  • Searching for and verifying new solutions using simulation tools;
  • Assembly and measurement of prototypes of individual components;
  • Reviving and developmentally testing individual electronic circuits and systems.
  • Concluded or in progress VI/2 or VII. level education in the field of electrical engineering;

  • Experience in drawing circuits or in the field of electrical engineering;

  • Communication skills, motivation, and teamwork orientation;

  • Active knowledge of English;

  • A desire for learning.

MID/SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER

We are looking for DevOps engineer with experience in maintaining and optimizing systems and services in both on-premise and cloud infrastructure. Your role will involve bridging software development and IT operations. You will be responsible for optimizing and automating development processes and software deployment. You will collaborate with various teams within the company, including the development team and IT. Ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency of the development infrastructure will be your focus. You will be involved in the implementation and maintenance of orchestration solutions while also updating documentation on infrastructure setup and maintenance, purchasing new and replacing existing computer devices.

Your DevOps expertise will be crucial in improving system performance and development processes within the company.

Your main tasks:

  • Planning, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable DevOps procedures and practices;
  • Collaborating with development and other teams to optimize software build, testing, and deployment processes;
  • Complementing and managing CI/CD processes;
  • Implementing and maintaining container and orchestration technologies such as Docker and/or Kubernetes;
  • Close collaboration with various teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement;
  • Keeping up with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in DevOps system improvement.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in the DevOps field;
  • A good understanding and experience with Linux, Microsoft operating systems;
  • Experience with Docker, GitLab, Jenkins, MS Azure DevOps;
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash;
  • Experience with Subversion and Git;
  • Experience in software development and planning.
