Low-Jitter Clock Distribution System Now Also for 500 MHz Machines
Libera Sync is a clock distribution system
developed to assure extremely low added jitter and excellent long term
phase stability. After various tests that proved the suitability for the
free electron laser machines, Libera Sync is now developed also to
synchronize geographically distributed systems at synchrotron light
sources and operates at 500 MHz. The first five units were sent to
Taiwan Light Source (NSRRC) this week.
