First Beam Tests of Libera Brilliance+ at TLS (Taiwan) and APS (US)

Taiwan Light Source and Argonne Photon Source are the first machines that are evaluating Libera Brilliance+, the new member of the Libera eBPM family. The first beam tests confirmed the functionalities of the Libera Brilliance+ basic model, which was released in December 2010. Libera Brilliance+ expands the Libera eBPM family. Compared to its predecessors (Libera Briliance, Libera Electron), it allows even more extensive machine physics studies to be conducted due to large data buffers and the new true turn-by-turn position calculation. It offers a large playground for custom-written applications with VirtexTM 5 and COM Express Basic module with Intel Atom N270 (x86) inside.
