Hardware

1. Intel Core 2 Duo COM Express with extensive communication interfaces: The latest FPGAs and a powerful personal computer based on the PCIe interface are good resources for the implementation of low-latency control algorithms, real-time data processing and dedicated RF system diagnostics tools.
2. RF inputs: Connect to position pickup electrodes. The system is configured to simultaneously process up to four BPM pickup signals.
3. Timing module: Used for triggering and synchronization purposes (Timing, Trigger, Interlock, Postmortem, System Clock, Machine Clock).
4. Libera Fast Global Orbit Feedback module (optional): Used for fast serial communication. Unidirectional Gigabit Ethernet connection as a standard solution for data streaming is offered.
5. Extension slots, optional
The Libera Hadron system architecture is based on a PCIe implemented on AMC standards. It is a user-friendly network-attached device that has a powerful computational interconnect board (ICB) managing a number of satellite boards.
